The sock drawer
Welcome to my blog.
When I first started this blog, I intended it to be a space to record the (occasional) progress of my (many) creative projects as well as a place to collect together things I like, like pictures of beautiful places or funny roadsigns or other such little things that have cheered my day. I intentionally didn't want it to be one of those self-reflective blogs that so many 20-somethings have these days.
Unfortunately, it turns out I am a self-reflective 20-something, that I enjoy having a place to collect my thoughts on the world, that I am sometimes an external processor and putting my thoughts into words intended for other people to read can help me to make sense of them and to take myself seriously. It also turns out that creative posts with lots of pictures and technical explanations take a long time to put together and therefore I rarely complete them. The result is a blog that meanders between unrelated topics with no clear purpose.
But do stick around - my (actual) sock drawer is testament to the fact that I love variety, and in the random assortment of things that I like to write about you might well find something you're interested in. The drop-down jump list at the top left will be your friend, because my hobbies fall into categories that might just match up with your interests.
Enjoy your time here, and do leave me a comment before you go!
